Attila Balla – Executive Chef

Hungarian born Attila Balla soon followed in his mothers footsteps becoming a prestigious chef, the family owned a restaurant in Glen Osmond which soon became Attila’s cooking training ground for years to come at the tender age of 5.

Attila soon found his passion for cooking and decided to train formally at the Le Cordon Bleu – Paris and Regency University Adelaide and soon became Australia’s youngest qualified chef at the age of 16.

Attila holds specialist cooking certificates in Chinese cooking, Pastry and European.

Attila traveled working in many exclusive 5 star Hotel Kitchens throughout the world including countries in Asia, South America and Europe. Now back in Australia the Hyatt group of Hotels employed Attila in the capacity of Chef de Cuisine. In this role Attila cooked for Queen Elizabeth II and The Duke of Edinburgh, Prime Minister John Howard, The Sultan of Brunei, The Premier Mike Rann and former President Bill Clinton.

Attila now the Executive Chef for Hahndorf Inn Investments, recently achievements include the opening of Hahndorf Inn China, back at the Inn he trains and develops young chefs to become the best they can be.
